Meet the Principal

As the Principal of Woodville Primary school I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our lovely school community. The leadership team, staff, students and parents are working together to ensure that Woodville Primary becomes a school of choice.

As a staff we are passionate about learning, and about every student being successful in achieving their best. As a great school we provide opportunities for all students to shine and achieve success in different areas.

Our mission is:

Challenging every student to learn, achieve and flourish

Moving into the 21 st Century, the demands for a new type of school graduate are clearly being brought to the fore as twentieth century assumptions about our world are becoming rapidly obsolete. Technology, globalization, climate change, globalized economies, demographics and various scientific advancements are all impacting on the type of graduate needed for the future. Being a learner today, and a global citizen of tomorrow, means that our students need to understand world issues like human rights, peace, environmental sustainability, cross-cultural perspectives and also be able to think both critically and creatively in order to be successful problem solvers. A great school employs a variety of technology and pedagogy to both support and challenge our students to become confident, passionate and compassionate active citizens.

At Woodville Primary School we have a strong partnership with parents and the school community. Every opportunity is taken to ensure that parents stay connected and we welcome new families to join us and participate in school organized functions and events.

As Principal, I welcome you to come and see me to share your positive experiences and also to work on any issues or concerns. A great school has parents working with staff to support student learning and wellbeing. I am a strong believer in working together as a 'Team around the child'.

I look forward to answering any queries and invite you to visit our spacious grounds and meet with our friendly and caring staff and students.
